Chuska Apartments — Winner of the state’s 2006 Low-Income Housing Tax Credit design competition, Chuska Apartments combines 10 transitional supportive housing units for homeless families and 20 permanent affordable housing units for families at or below 60% of the area median income. Chuska Apartments includes one-story residential buildings with a mixture of two- and three-bedroom apartments. The project features a number of green design elements, including use of day lighting, non-toxic materials, solar energy, and native and drought tolerant plants. Our local service partner, CARE 66, coordinates the provision of supportive services for residents in the transitional units.

Vista Gallinas Apartments — This is a15-unit HUD Section 811 project providing permanent supportive housing for disabled persons with severe mental illness who are at or below 30% area median income. The project is located in Las Vegas, NM and opened in February 2010.
