Imagine a world where a mother doesn’t have to choose between buying her child a winter coat or paying her monthly rent. Where a family can drive around in their car instead of having to sleep in it. Where no veteran has to live on the streets because their PTSD limits their ability to function as they did, before they served our country. Together, this world can be a reality. By donating to SHC-NM you become a part of the coalition that is working every day to end and prevent homelessness in New Mexico! Here are some ways you can help:

  • Individual Contributions: We hope that you will consider making a donation today to assist our efforts in providing quality and affordable housing for New Mexico’s most vulnerable individuals. Click here to make your one-time or reoccurring donation or you can send us a check. All donations made to our organization are tax deductible.   • Sponsorship Opportunities: If you own a business and would like to sponsor any of our events or become a funding partner of the organization, please contact us at 505-255-3643 for sponsorship details.
  • United Way or Combined Federal Campaign: Depending on where you work, you may also be able to contribute easily through payroll deduction via the United Way or Combined Federal Campaign. Spread your contribution over the year by deducting an amount of your choosing from your paycheck each pay cycle. Some employers will also match their employees’ contributions to charity. Your company’s human resources department can tell you what options are available to you. If you would like more information or need assistance please contact us. We would be happy to work with you and your employer.
  • In-Kind Donations: We accept in-kind donations for all of our events including media partnerships, raffle prize donations, incentives for fundraising events, and printing and advertising expenses. We also accept in-kind donations for building improvement including carpet, flooring, light bulbs, lumber, plants etc.. Please contact us if you have something you would like to donate.
